To Jorge Guillen and Rodolfo
(Real Estate Agent)

Brother Jorge

Greetings. I hope you and your family are well. We miss you all in
Nicaragua very much. We are very excited that the campaign is only a short time from now and we will all be together again.

******************** Medical Campaign **************

We are planning to bring around $2000 for rice and beans. We like to
distribute the food while the people are waiting for their medicine.
However, if you feel it would work better, the teenagers could go to a
separate location where there are many poor people and a church work and distribute the food away from the medical campaign. This would allow us to bring the gospel and food to 6-7 locations.

We will have approximately 750 to 1000 bibles (Holy Bibles, Spanish).
I have always told everyone that you are in charge of the places that we go
on the mission. All of the preachers, Cesar, Douglas, Juan should know
this. I have had many requests and I always refer them back to you. You
should decide where you think the best harvest for the Lord's church is
possible. We have talked of working on the farm for one day. Maybe this is
a good idea and maybe not. Could we combine and have only one day in
Jinotepe and Juan and Cesar determine the place for this that will help the
church the most. We would love to work on the farm but there are no
facilities at this time.

CONSTRUCTION: brother Kenny and Ray are in charge of construction. They will have 5-10 teenage boys to help them. They could would at the farm or for the church that Cesar is planning. He may need some help with a roof or something. I will leave this up to Kenny, Ray, Cesar and Juan.

Possible Ideas for you to consider.

Sunday Afternoon: It is possible to work on Sunday afternoon. We could go to La Fuente or the suburb of Tipitapa (a very poor community there, Elvis and Bernarbe know of this place and the new church, some people have starved there.) Work for 3 hrs or so.

Monday-Thurs ? On Sunday night, arrive at Hotel Casa Grande and begin
working in the Jinotepe area on Monday thru Thurs.

Thurs night- would like to let the workers go to Masaya festival on Thurs
night for music and food.

Friday ? Catarina

Could go to Catarina on Friday and then the workers could shop after we
finished our mission.

Saturday - tour/shopping

Please decide for yourself the best plan. This is only ideas.

**************** ORPHANAGE *******************************

On the Orphanage: We currently have about $14,000 for the building fund.
We are still hopeful to hear from several other congregations soon. At our
meeting last Wed night, the committee agreed to meet in 2-3 weeks (mid-May) and finalize the finances to begin construction of the first house. We will borrow some money from the bank if necessary. We want to begin construction NO LATER than July.

*************** FOUNDATION *********************

Has the lawyer finished the work on the foundation? We need to know how to get vehicles and supplies across the border and donated to the orphanage without paying expensive fees. Also, I need to get the property in the name of the Los Ninos del Rey Foundation and no longer in my name personally.

I know this is a long letter. I am sorry I have not written you for several
weeks. We will have 4-5 doctors and 3-4 dentist with 2 hygeinist. Also 3
pharmacist. I will need to get you the information to give to MINSA for
approval of the campaign. We will also need to buy some medicine in
Nicaragua for parasites. Please take some photos with the digital camera
that we sent and send to us email. I know you are very busy. If we have
finished the finances, I will come to Nicaragua if needed to start
construction in May or early June.

In the name of Jesus, our brother and Savior, we pray that God will bless
our work together for His Kingdom,

Kent King, M.D.

Apr-15-03

To Juan, Jorge and Cesar;

Greetings brothers. You are always in our prayers.

The committee met tonight as we do on most all Wednesday nights and had several recommendations. We are very concerned about the safety of the Calero family. It was decided that I will come to Nicaragua as soon as
possible. This will probably be Wed or Thur, May 29th and stay until Sunday June 1st. I will let you know as soon as possible.

1. I will come and visit with Aracely and Juan and their family. I would
like to ask Erick's Garcias opinion if Juan feels that his family is in need
of counselling. We would normally have our preachers do the counselling for such a situation and not a psychiatrist. I realize that this may be a
different situation.

2. We need to plan how to prevent another robbery. What is the safest
situation for the Calero family? This is our primary concern at this time.

3. We want to consider the details of hiring guards. This sounds like a
good idea for now. We can not legally send money for weapons or guns. The committee feels that this would be inappropriate. If the persons that you hired are security guards, why do they not have their own guns?

4. We need to quickly finalize the plans, drawings for the first house and
finish getting the estimates. Brother Kenny Hinds and John Graham had an estimate for the house at $12,000 to $14,000 USD and about $18,000 with septic and water system. The man was a construction builder in Jinotepe. He was recommended highly by Kenny and John. They spent several days working on this project. If we are able to finalize the cost at below $20,000, we are ready to begin work on the first house. This will also add security for the Calero family.

5. I will also try to bring information on the medical campaign to give to
Minsa. All medical license are renewed in June so I can do everything until
after the first of June.

6. Proceed with any work on the foundation that I can help with. I would
like to meet with the lawyer and possibly some city officials from Jinotepe.

I know that I will not have time to do all of this.

** Important **

Two brothers from Oklahoma Christian College are coming to Honduras,
Nicaragua and Guatemala next week. Their trip is for 8 days and they wish
to spend 2 days in Nicaragua. They have many contacts for mission work
including Baxter Institute, Missionaries, Churches with support, students
for mission work. Their names are Bob Carpenter and Dudley Chancey. I need to get the cell phone number of Jorge so they can contact someone when they arrive. The are planning to stay at Las Mercedes possibly. Please take them around on a tour of the farm property, preaching school at Managua and introduce them to as many brothers and sisters as possible. They need to meet Juan and Aracely. Brother Chancey started an orpahage in Honduras and we will need his advise. Please talk to him about any plans or suggestions.

** Please send any cell phone numbers that i can give to them.

God bless all of you and we love you very much. Do not grow weary in you
well doing for the Lord and His children.

Kent King, M.D.
