Thanks to all who have prayed for Jeyson and Anamarcos.

Baby Jeyson:
Jeyson and mother are at Tera Bruner's house with Julie Arce and friends. He is having good and bad days. Still seems agitated with movement. Do to some shaking spells (not necessarily seizures), I started him on a seizure medication at Dr. Hahn's request. Hopefully this will calm down his nervous system and make him more comfortable. The fluid is being drained very slowly to minimize pain and neurologic problems. He has an appointment on Monday, Sept 30, and will probably come back to our house in Duncan after that. He and his mother will likely be here in the US for 2-3 months, depending on Dr. Hahn's recommendations. They have all been so wonderful at
Mercy Hospital and we thank God for their compassion. Jeyson would not have survived without the surgery.

Baby Anamarcos:
Good news. It appears that Ana's urinary tract is normal. She has thickened labial adhesions which caused the urine to flow backwards into the vagina. Then it appears she urinates out from the vagina. The x-rays from Nicaragua did not show any abnormal communication from the bladder. Dr. Kropp feels her examination is essentially normal except for the increased labial tissue in front of the urethra with reflects some of the urine backwards. This can
be treated with massage and creams and hopefully no major surgery will be necessary. She will have repeat xrays on Friday, Oct 4th. If these are normal, then her mother and her may be returning to Nicaragua shortly thereafter.

Thanks for all your prayers,

Kent King, M.D.

The following update and request is from brothers on Nica Committee

Project: Los Niños del Rey

Wednesday, September18 2002

Dear brothers of the committee:

May God bless you each one of you.

We are writing to you, in order to inform you that on Monday, September 16 brother Juan Calero moved to the farm to make possession of it. On Wednesday September 18 at 10:00 in the morning we carried out the first official meeting of the committee in Nicaragua. In this meeting we analyzed the most urgent problems and its possible solutions. After we talked we run to the following agreements:

1. Carrying out immediately the cleaning of the total farm, to repair all the damaged fences and to select the useful crops. For this we will need to buy barbed wire and cramps. This work will have an approximately last of
three months and will be carried out by a group of ten brothers from the Church, whom will receive in compensation by their work the right to cultivate a portion of the soil for the all the year 2003.

2. Repair the electric system in order to use it without any danger. The present cables are very damaged and there is a danger of a short-circuit. This is urgent to illuminate the farm an to avoid a robber.

3. Repair the potable water system for to facilitate its use, and also to be capable to install a toilet and a bathroom.

4. To request brother German Espinosa all those tools and equipment we need for the work at the farm.

5. To request you founds for all the works that previously were mentioned and for all the steps that we need to take. In the next days we will send a budget of all this things.

We want to take advantage of this opportunity to inform you that our brother Juan Calero is living in the old house that is at the farm. We loaned $ 100 dollars for some urgent fees we did, cause we do not have any found to work.

All the before requests are to allow the minimum conditions to live in, while is build the kid's house .

God fills you of many blessings.

Your brothers in Christ
Jorge, Juan y Cesar.

Jeyson
is doing well after surgery. Chanel 5 and 9 covered the
surgery and KTOK 1000 interviewed me this morning.

Ana had her appointment with Dr. Kropp. He thinks all may be normal and she will have some X-rays of her bladder either Friday or next week.

Juan and Aracely Calero have moved onto the farm earlier this week. They are budgeting for and making repairs. They are so excited about the property and the Children's home, like children on Christmas morning. God bless them and keep them enthused.

He will have the VP shunt placed on Wed @ 6:30 am (9/18) and is doing well.
Mother is obviously worried but hopeful. Will likely be in ICU at Mercy for
1 day and 4-5 days on the floor before coming home. May stay in OKC for the
first week or so.

Baby Anamarcos: Dr. Kropp was gone yesterday and hopefully will call today
for appt to see him at Children's. Can't get appt till he calls back or
something. Mother and Ana are doing well.

Will keep updated after surgery.

To all interested in the property for the orphanage

As of 1100 am, 9|14|2002 it belongs to Kent T. King representing Los Ninos
Del Rey. Thanks be to God to bring to us the property as 1|2 price from
such a wonderful lady. She is very gracious and cooperated and trusted us.

We have copies of the title and contract.
We are going to the property at 200 pm today for the seller to give us the
property by tradition.

Say prayers of thanks,

Kent King

To all concerned:

We are doing well and closing on the property tomorrow in the morning at 10:30 am. We had hoped to close tonight but there were too many misspelling on the complicated names. So we are going to close in the morning. I should have a signed copy of the title and documents to bring home. The property is excellent. We will need to continue with making our inc. officical in Nicaragua so Jorge G. can represent us. I am trying to close the deal since
all is in order with the documents and I will not be here to sign the title later.

Jerry, I did not receivee the fax. I do not know what happened. There is an email from Jane Brackett and maybe she is from the bank. I do not know what happened. She sent a link to something on her desk, not the document we needed. Hope to proceed without it at this point.

The two babies and mothers (left) will be travelling with me on American and we will arrive in Dallas at 4:10 and james will arrive at 1:30 and get everything ready. The hi=top van is stuck in the parking garage.

Keep praying and let the church pray for us on Sun am.

In Christ,
Kent King

To all:

We met with the brothers here in Nicaragua last night and all of the paper work has already been completed.

He has the following documents in certified condition:

Copy of title
Letter of no incumberances
Legal description
Title History
letter of utilites up to date

They are expecting us to pay the cash: $24000 + $1,000 for sales tax today. They have exceeded our expectations.

Jerry Montgomery is checking on how we can complete this today.

The process usually takes place at a registar's office and the title is immediately given to the buyer and the cash given to the seller and all sign that the act occurred. If we send check or money later, we can't be present
in from of registar to get the title. So working on this to transpire to today, but it will be difficult.

Jorge G and the committee with the laywer, who is a brother from the church in Masaya have done an excellent job so far. Thanks so much to them.

Pray for this to work out best,
In Christ,
Kent King, M.D.

Dear Brothers/Sisters in Christ;

I am overjoyed by you work and dedication. God has granted me success today. I went personally to OKC today and had much success in obtaining the necessary documents for Visas.

I obtained:

1. Letters from both doctors with corrected names.
2. Letter from Mercy hosp for baby Jeyson.
3. Letter from OU Children's Hosp for Anamarcos
4. Letter from Chisholm Trail Church Elders of support

All documents were them taken personally by me to Senator Don Nickles'
personal assistant Judy Albro. She then faxed them to the US Consulate in Managua. I have a copy but will scan and email them to you tomorrow.

Please go to the consulate or call and see if all is in order to grant
permission for the children and their mothers. Email me as soon as possible. I will plan on making airplane arrangements as soon as I get confirmation from you that the visas have been granted. I will come to Managua and may need to spend one day on the orphange property situation then accompany the mothers/babies back to OKC.

"Thanks by to God our Father who is compassionate always and may he grant success in allowing the sick children to receive the surgeries needed.

In the name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician,
Amen"

Kent King
